2011 GRAND ROSE PARADE
Dear Parade Participant
You are invited to help us celebrate our 53rd Annual Rose Festival and Parade. Our theme this year is A Piece of Heaven in 2011. Our festivities will run Thursday, June 16, through Sunday, June 19. The grand parade is on Saturday, June 18, 2010, at 10:00 am.
The judging of the floats will begin at 9:15 a.m. and the winners will be notified prior to the start of the parade. Judging will be based on workmanship, creativity, originality, and best use of theme. There will be four cash prizes for floats. First place will receive $200, second place $150, third place $100, and fourth place $50.00.
Please mail your completed entry form and fee if you are a for profit company by June 8. Checks should be made payable to State Center Rose Festival. If you cant attend this year, but want to be remembered for future parades, please return the form stating so. Information on the parade route, etc., will be sent out the week prior to the parade.
